The Collection

As I was doing my homework for Creative Writing this morning, a poem spouted out from beneath my fingers. It was quite strange. Said poem ended up being a parody of the first verse of “Part of Your World” from the Little Mermaid.

…Yeah, I don’t know how that happened either, but I think it’s funny! 😄

The Collection

Look at my books,

Aren’t they sweet?

Wouldn’t you think that they’re all obsolete?

Wouldn’t you think I’m the writer

The writer who’s gone insane?

Look at this crate

Isn’t it great!

How many notebooks can one shelf hold weight?

Looking around here you think

She’s gone over the brink

I’ve got sketchbooks and journals aplenty

I’ve got spirals and binders galore

You want miniatures?

I’ve got thirty!

But who cares?

No big deal

I need more!

~Mercia Dragonslayer

What’s the weirdest poem you’ve ever written? And do you have a link? >:D

(This is not my weirdest poem, just so you know–that claim goes to the poem I wrote about a serial killer. …Don’t ask.)
